Vittiya Patshala is an initiative that falls under our intervention of UN-SDG 5 Gender Equality as well as UN-SDG 8 Decent work and Economic Growth. This program aims to bridge the disparity of financial education amongst micro-entrepreneurs and underprivileged nano and micro business owners, especially women.
Vittiya Patshala is an initiative that falls under our intervention of UN-SDG 5 Gender Equality as well as UN-SDG 8 Decent work and Economic Growth. This program aims to bridge the disparity of financial education amongst micro-entrepreneurs and underprivileged nano and micro business owners, especially women.
Vittiya Pathshala is conducted in a mini-workshop style model where each of our customers and other community members are briefed regarding safe and secure credit and debit transactions, conditions of financial instruments, maintenance of business transactions, building of financial portfolios, etc.
Financial education is imparted through games, activities and interactive questionnaires to increase participation by each beneficiary. This program aims to promote financial literacy and provide access to financial knowledge and banking functionality to women entrepreneurs from the vulnerable and marginalized communities.
ARTH Vittiya Patshala aims to promote financial education and provide access to financial knowledge to vulnerable and marginalized communities, to subsequently help the community members inculcate better management skills and grow their respective savings.
Moreover, this initiative also addresses the following objectives:- Promoting safe and secure credit and debit transactions.

- Understanding the terms and conditions of financial instruments
- Building on financial portfolio and bureau score by engaging inappropriate activities
- Responsibilities and code of conduct of becoming a co-borrower
- Maintaining and analyzing business transactions efficiently
